The Vienna round saw fierce competition between some of the world’s top female climbers, including local Anna Stohr, Akiyo Noguchi(JPN), Alex Puccio(USA), Shauna Coxsey(GBR), and Log-Dragomer champion Mina Markovic.

Womens Problem 3 proved to be the test piece – a whopper of a problem with a severly overhanging start with volumes, leading into a still overhanging top filled with slopers and slopery pinches. Akiyo Noguchi was the only one to top this one and the satisfaction on her face was palpable.

This time around, Akiyo Noguchi won womens division by topping all 4 problems.

Mina markovic couldnt get past Problem 3, but sent the others, and finished 2nd.

Alex Puccio showed up to compete this time around and placed 3rd with 2 tops in 2 attempts.

Shauna Coxsey, who came in 2nd in Log-Dragomer, placed 4th — it seemed like her shoulder was bothering her.

Anna Stohr , an Austrian Climber only topped 1 problem and came in 5th.

On the Men’s Side, Rustam Gelmanov showed  his Log-Dragomer win was no fluke by winning this one by topping all 4 problems. His countryman Dmitrii Sharafutdinov followed closely behind in 2nd with 3 tops, and Kilian Fishhuber came in 3rd also with 3 tops, but in more attempts, which must have been a crowd-pleaser after Anna Stohr’s disappointing 4th place finish.
