New Bouldering Gym Opening + Competition!

It’s official — Climb Alpine, the company that brought you Xinyi Bouldering gym, is opening Civic Bouldering Gym in Taipei, early April!

The location will be 5 minutes walking from Nangang Exhibition Hall station, the space looks pretty big  – between Xinyi and STONE in size, and they’ll be using HRT holds, the same holds used in international climbing competitions, so we’re pretty psyched!

They’re starting things off with a competition:

Name: 2013 Min-Jung Cup Bouldering Competition and  Club Alpine Civic Bouldering Gym Opening Comp

Date & Time: April 7th, 2013 8:30am-8pm

Address: Civic Bouldering Gym,
No.552, Sec. 8,  Civic Blvd(aka Shimin Blvd)., Nangang Dist., Taipei
(MRT: Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Station, Exit 5. walk west along Civic Blvd for about 5 minutes)

Note: Google labels it as “Shimin Blvd.”, but the name on the street sign says Civic Blvd.

Price: $300 TWD

Divisions: Men’s, Women’s.

This is an amateur competition so competitors who have either ranked in the Top 3 in an amateur division, or particpated in the open divison of a bouldering comp are not allowed to register.

Register in person at either Xinyi , STONE, Neihu,  or iClimb.

Online registration also available(Chinese)

Registration closes March 31st.

If you would like to register but are worried about language issues, please get in touch and we will help out.

Prizes: Top 3 from each division will get prizes.
